Family Worship
Just one service @ 9:30am with all ages worshipping together on Sunday, September 4th.  No KidMin, student or adult groups meeting that day.

Strong Families
Practical parenting support led by a licensed psychologist with dinner and childcare provided from 5:30-7:30pm on Monday, August 29.  RSVP online.
 
Men's Ministry
Men's Breakfast + Ax Throw  & Clay Shoot on Saturday, September 10th from 8am to noon for men of all ages.   Find details and sign up to attend here.
 
The Wild at Heart Experience (men's study) begins September 14th and meets weekly at 6am or 7pm.  Sign up here.
 
MOPS/MomsNext
Monthly gatherings on Friday mornings or Tuesday evenings with mom & kid events in between throughout the school year.  Register and find details online.

New 13 week small group session meeting on Saturdays mornings for those who have lost a loved one.  Find details here.
 
Women's Ministry
"Truthfilled" women's study begins the week of September 11th and meets weekly at either 6pm on Sundays or 10am on Wednesdays.  Find details and sign up to attend here.
 
Student Ministry MidWeek Small Groups
Small groups for students ages 7-12th grade meet mid-week off campus throughout the school year.  Email Ethan and sign up for student text notifications to get all the details.
 
Kids in Action
An opportunity for kids K-4th grade to learn about missions and have fun on Sunday evenings during our Student Ministry time.  Begins September 11th @ 6pm.
 
Sunday Morning Classes
We have classes for all ages available on Sunday mornings, starting at 8am, 9:30am and 11am.  We encourage you to try out a few and see which is the right fit.  You can get started by checking out this list of groups who are currently meeting, and let us know if you'd like pointed in the right direction.
 
DID YOU KNOW...?
  • Oaks of Righteousness is starting back up on Monday, September 12th.  This community ministry is held at The Calling Community Church.  A flyer is attached with details and you can contact Jackie Diercks with questions. 
  • FBC partners with Equal Start every year to help provide free resources to PC families to prepare for the new school year.  They are looking for individual sponsors!  You can donate by sponsoring a child using this link
  • We have an "FBC Platte City" app available to download with shortcuts to helpful links, including events, submitting prayer requests, and online giving. 
  • We host a worship time with traditional hymns from 7:45-8pm on Sunday mornings in our chapel room downstairs.  Sunday morning classes follow at 8am.  Join anytime!
