Our Christmas Program is scheduled for Sunday, December 11 @ 6pm.  

Rehearsals run between services from 10:30-10:55am each Sunday morning.  Please drop off and pick up to the green K & 1st grade room during that time frame.

Ages 4 years through 4th grade are invited to participate.

 

Kids Christmas Program FAQ:

 

Do they have to participate?

No, totally up to each family. But we hope they do because it’s adorable and a lot of fun. We love watching our kids lead us in worship. 

 

What should my kid wear?

We have old school angel and shepherd costumes for each kid. Please take one home after church on December 11th. You can leave it with us right after the program. We will take care of washing them. If you aren’t at church on the 11th, please arrive early that evening to grab one before the program. 

 

How long will it last?

We just have 4 songs! No speaking parts, no skits. Plan on 30-40 minutes (depending on how many cookies you consume)

 

Will I have a chance to take photos?

Yes! Please do! We will have a photo op set up, or you can use our Christmas tree in the lobby. (Or both! Why stop with one photo?)

 

Can you make the music accessible to practice at home?

Your wish is our command. All of the songs with motions are loaded on our FBC Families Facebook page (add Amanda Kisker Keith on Facebook to join). They are also uploaded on the KidMin page of our website. 

 

What will the day of December 11th look like?

Here's a few details if you have a kid(s) participating in the program:

 

On the morning of December 11, we'll have angel and shepherd costumes organized by size for you to select one that fits. 

 

Immediately following the 11:00 service on December 11th, we're going to have a pizza party downstairs then a rehearsal for the kids to practice lining up on the risers and give them the chance to run through their songs. We'll wrap up at 1:15 (feel free to leave for lunch and come back). 

 

The program itself will be short and sweet with hot chocolate and cookies after their songs!
